Fellow music blog buddies Sweet Static turned two years old over the weekend and threw a killer party at Alphaville to celebrate. The party, which happened to coincide with the second annual Women's March, featured a stacked bill of bands featuring female musicians. The '94 Knicks kicked off the night (we kinda hate ourselves for missing that set), Grim Streaker raged through a sea of fog, Bodega brought a dance wizard along (which totally ruled) and Thick closed out the night with a crew of rad women front and center head banging and chanting along. We personally can't wait to see what the next year has in store for you Sweet Static. Keep fighting that good fight.
