Benefit for the Migrant Caravan

Brooklyn’s DIY scene is good at taking care of those in need. We’ve seen this play out time and time again in the two years we’ve been slinging photos into the tubes of the internet. On January 26 we saw this play out again with Maria Lina Canales, Aida Riddle and Jessica Gelfand joining forces to throw a massive benefit show at Sunnyvale for the Migrant Caravan. Music kicked off around 3 p.m. and the event featured 11 acts throughout the day. We couldn’t stick around for all of it, but were stoked on what we were able to capture.

By the time things wrapped up the day had raised nearly $1500 in funds, which were donated directly to Pueblo Sin Fronteras, an organization who provides humanitarian aid and professional legal services to migrants and refugees.
